GROUP LEADER INSTRUCTIONS:

Dear Group Leader:

 

Thank you for your interest in Adventure Treks with We Are Without Borders. Our goal is to transformational discipleship experiences in the wilderness at some of the most iconic locations in the world.

 

Although students can sign up individually to participate, many times an adult leader will organize a group from their school, church or area. Let me briefly share with you the process and benefits of getting a group together:

Group Registration Process:

 

  • Step One: Have each student fill out the leadership conference application and submit the application with a $300 deposit.

 

  • Step Two: Arrange your flight. Flights are the responsibility of each group or individual. Each group leader or individual traveler must get flight arrival and departure times approved by WAWB in writing prior to booking their flights. This is essential to assure that all groups arrive at the appropriate time so group ground transportation can be arranged. All group and individuals assume responsibility for flight bookings arranged without the confirmation of WAWB.

 

  • Step Three: Pay your final payment to WAWB, which is due not later than 60 before departure. (A payment schedule will be emailed to individuals upon receipt of application and deposit.)

Benefits of Getting a Group Together:

 

With a minimum group of 10 students, the chaperone can attend the trek for free. (Group leaders are responsible for their own airfare)

What an International Leadership Conference Includes:

 

  • Hotel accommodations

  • All discipleship training and materials

  • At least two meals per day. (unless noted because of additional days added to itinerary)

  • Entry fees for all activities per itinerary.

  • All airport transfers and ground transportation.

  • Emergency medical insurance.

 

 

What an International Leadership Conference Does not Include:

 

  • Airfare

  • One meal per day

  • Tipping for bus drivers, guides and other service providers

  • Souvenirs

  • Snacks

  • Trip cancellation insurance or additional medical insurance
